The Edmonds City Council special meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. by Mayor Gary Haakenson
at City Hall, 121 5h Avenue North, Third Floor "Great Room," Edmonds.

STAFF PRESENT
Brent Hunter, Human Resources Director
Cindi Cruz, Executive Assistant

The purpose for the special meeting was for the City Council to conduct interviews of candidates for the
Community Services Director and Development Services Director positions. The following interviews
were conducted:
Community Services Director
Thomas Jones
Chris Keuss
Stephen Clifton
At 10:30 a.m. the City Council left the meeting room to meet in Executive Session to evaluate the
qualifications of the applicants for the position of Community Services Director pursuant to RCW
42.30.110(1)(g).
The City Council reconvened the open meeting to continue with the interviews at 10:45 a.m.

At 11:30 a.m. the City Council left the meeting room to meet in Executive Session to evaluate the
qualifications of the applicants for the position of Development Services Director pursuant to RCW
42.30.110(1)(g).
The meeting adjourned at .11:45 a.m.
