A RESOLUTIOL, providing for the form of ballot to be used at a
special election to be held in the City of Edmords, Washington, or
the 7th day of August, 1928.

Brohomish County, ;'Jashingtor, and the provisions of Ordinance Teo.
404 of the City of Edmonds, Washington, it is provided that a
special election shall be held in said City or August 7th, 1928,
for the purpose of subr;itting to the qualified voters of said f
City for ratification or rejection the proposition of said City
acquiring and constructing a complete waterworks s stem and the
issuing of $130,000.00 of water revenue Bonds and 20,000.00 of
general Bonds to pay the O�o s t thereof; and

Every voter desiring to vote in favor of the following propo-

PBOPOSITIOI: Shall the City of Edmonds, Washington, pursuart
to the system ar_d plan. therefor specified and adopted by Ordinance
�}}o.404 of said City, aegsire and construct a complete municipal
a rater supply system, and for the purpose of payirg for the same,
issue its special Bonds ire the principal sum of $130,000.00, pay-
0 able solely from the revenues of said municipal waterworks system,
serially in from six to twenty-five years, with interest at the
rate rot exceeding six percent. per annum, payable semi-annually;`
and its general Boras in the prircipal sum of $20,000.00, payable
from general tax levies, serially in from two to sixteen years
from date with interest at a rate not exceeding five percent. per
arnum, payable semi-annually, all as provided in said Ordinance

Ordinance To. 404 of the City of Ed�mords, ��ashirgton, ar:d a
?esolution of the Board of Election Commissioners of Snohomish
Courty, Washirztor, a special election will be held it the City
of Ednords , Srohomish County, Washirgton, or. the 7th day of
august, 1928, at the polling places desigrated below, for the
purpose of submitting to the qualified electors within said City
for their ratifieatior or rejection,the following propositior.,
towit:
"Shall the City of Edmonds, Washingtor, pursuant to the system
and plan therefor specified ar_d adopted by Ordirar_ce Lo.404 of
said City, acquire and construct a municipal water works system
y or the said City arcl issue and sell special water revex_ue Bonds
gr the sum of 1130,000.00 payable solely from the revenues of
said municipal water works system, serially in from six to twenty-
five years with interest at a rate not exceeding sax percent.

ceedirg five percent. per arrun, the various anr_ual maturities
of which gereral Bords shall commence with the seooz_d year after

as nearly as practicable be in such amounts as will, together
with the irterest or the outstanding Bonds, be met by an equal
annual tax levy for the payment of said Bonds and interest, all

Second Precinct, L.C.Ergel's office
Third Precinct, Federated Church
The election polls will be open from eight o'clock A.M.,
until eight o'clock P.M. on said 7th day of August, 1928.
