WHEREAS, the City of Edmonds has acquired certain
waterfront property in the City of Edmonds from Eathel Thayer
for the purpose of a park site, and
WHEREAS, as -part payment for said property the City
of Edmonds has issued an interest bearing warrant in the
sum of Thirty Five Thousand ($35,000.00) Dollars, and
WHEREAS, the National Bank of Commerce, Edmonds
Branch, has purchased said interest bearing warrant, and
WHEREAS, the Water Sewer Bond Redemption Fund of
the City of Edmonds has monies in excess of current needs, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to R.C.W. 35.39.030 the Finance
Committee of the City of Edmonds has approved the investment
of money from the Water Sewer Bond Redemption Fund of the
City of Edmonds in said interest bearing warrant, now, therefore,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EDMONDS, AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Treasurer of the City of Edmonds be
instructed to invest monies from the Water Sewer Bond Redemp-
tion Fund to acquire the Thirty Five Thousand($35,000.00)
Dollar interest bearing warrant issued by the City of Edmonds
for the acquisition of said waterfront property.
