Driving from the east side of the intersection, Robinhood makes a natural curve onto 106th going north. The west part of the intersection is the portion of the intersection that a number of residents would like to see with a stop sign. The drivers coming down the small hill from the west cut the corner as they turn north onto 106th almost causing head on collisions with cars coming to a stop at their stop sign. In the last two weeks I have almost been hit twice, a neighbor, Dick Buttorff complained of the same, and.my son and I watched last week two cars almost colliding in the same manner. Chris Jennings who, is at the bottom of the small hill to the west has trouble when she is pulling out of her; driveway with cars coming too fast over the crest of the hill knowing there is no stop sign. She was almost rear ended recently. There might not be accidents at this intersection, but the potential is extremely high. We understand from your posted signs that sidewalks are being installed on 106th up to Robinhood Dr. While this work is being completed, we ask that you also install a stop sign on the western portion of this intersection. If you wish to give me a call to discuss this, please do so. I can also arrange for other concerned neighbors to get in touch with your representative if need be. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
