G RHA: LRL - ej May 30, 1978 Q MEMO TO: Community Development Department FROM: Leif R. Larson Director of public Works SUBJECT: VARIANCE OF LOT SIZE REQUIREMENT FOR SEPTIC -TANK AT 16508 76TH AVENUE WEST VARIANCE NO. v-43-78 We have reviewed the subdivision, building permit and septic approval of the disposal system application. We recommend variance for the following reasons: The total square footage in the two lots of the subdivision exceeds 40,000 square feet. This would, therefore, make it possible to meet the criteria of 20,000 square foot lot size for the purpose of a septic tank. 2. The septic tank disposal system design meets the minimum requirements of the city of Edmonds. 3. The lot arrangement has little bearing in this the house and case on the location of proposed septic tank system. If the lot lines were changed the house and septic disposal system would be at constructed in the same location as proposed the present time. RHA: LRL - ej
