Please submit 2 sets of revised plans/documents to Marie Harrison, Permit Coordinator by September 11, 2006 (currently under code enforcement action). 1. Previous item la: Clarify site plan if there is a curb at the building walkway within the accessible route of travel. If there is, a curb ramp is required. Show on plans and provide detail. ICCIANSI Al 17.1 section 406 2. Previous item 2h: The restroom must be accessible and does not meet the turning space requirements of ICC/ANSI A117.1 sections 603.2.1 and 304. Alteration of the existing restroom is required, unless the Architect can find that it is technically infeasible (see definition under IBC 3402). If technically infeasible, provide a letter stamped and signed by the architect (addressed to the Building Official, Jeannine Graf) explaining why it is technically infeasible to alter the restroom to comply with current accessibility codes.
