During a review of the plans by the Building Division for the above noted project, it was found that
the following information, clarifications, or changes are needed. A complete review cannot be
performed until the revised plans/documents, including a written response indicating where the
clouded or otherwise highlighted changes can be found on the revised plans, have been submitted
to a Permit Coordinator. Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning, Engineering, or Fire, may
result in additional comments.
Per the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) section 18.08.410, design work for alterations where
the project area is greater than 4000 square feet must be done by a licensed architect. Refer to the
City of Edmonds Tenant Improvement Permit Submittal Requirements see attached regarding
the information to be included when resubmitting. In addition to that noted in the submittal
requirements, a note regarding the required vacuum relief valve for the elevated hot water tank per
Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) 608.7 should be added to the plans.
