Fire apparatus access: <br />a. Call out fire access lane along north roadway continuing to approved turnaround at <br />the location between Bldg B & Mod H-1. Show clear widths and turn radii along FD <br />access routes around site where existing. Use COE Standard detail E2.5 <br />http://www.ci.edmonds.wa.us/CityDepartments/EngrDept/E74-Street_Standards.pdf <br />b. Call out fire access lane from north roadway continuing to approved turnaround at <br />the location of existing trash/recycle area. Show clear widths and turn radii along FD <br />access routes around site where existing. Provide vertical clearance no less than 13’6” along fire service access lanes. <br />d. Approved signs or other markings shall be provided and maintained for fire <br />apparatus access roads to identify such roads and prohibit the obstruction thereof or <br />both. <br />e. Fire service access lanes shall be striped with 4” yellow perimeter striping and <br />identified with words “FIRE LANE – NO PARKING”. Letters shall be 12” high with 2” <br />stroke spaced each 50 lineal feet on alternating insides of lane. <br /> <br />2. Fire hydrants <br />a. Show existing on-site fire hydrants. <br />b. FH location shall be identified by the installation of approved blue pavement <br />reflective markers in the center of drive aisle perpendicular to the hydrant location. <br />c.
