The following project has been evaluated under the Edmonds Community Development
Code, 2003 International Fire Code. Please resubmit with following
corrections/clarifications:
Building is provided with NFPA 13 automatic fire sprinkler system and fire alarm.
1. Is your intent to remain open during remodel? (Yes:) Assure required exits are
maintained clear at all times and fire protection systems, appliances and fire
sprinkler systems are un-impaired and accessible.
2. Provide fixture/furnishings plan referenced on your submittal.
3. Sht A0.0 CODE SUMMARY: “FIRE SPRINKLER: FULLY NFPA 13.
4. Sht A0.0 GENERAL INFORMATION, DESIGN-BUILD SUBMITTALS:
Add (7) FIRE SUPPRESSION PERMIT(s).
5. Sht A0.0 GENERAL NOTES: Delete Note G.
6. Sht A0.2 KEYNOTES 1 & 6: remove exit signs at existing BEVERAGE (120)
and existing FLORAL (133) exits.
7. Sht A2.0/A2.1 Call out Class 2A:10B:C (min.) rated portable fire extinguisher
locations.
8. Sht A2.0/A2.1 Call out Class K(s) rated portable fire extinguisher location(s)
within 30’ of commercial cooking system(s).
