RE: Review comments for proposed trash enclosure

There is a new trash enclosure structure proposed on the site plan that is approximately where
waste containers currently are located out in the open. This location remains suitable for access
by the waste collection trucks.
Details on the structure need to be provided for further review. The minimum finished inside
width needs to be 14', while the minimum depth shall be 10'inside dimension. This allows 2
front -load containers to be rolled out for service while providing room for use and maneuvering
while inside the enclosure.
Gate sections must be able to swing past 90 degrees at a minimum. Please indicate gate swing
and use of appropriate gate stops. When gates are open the full 14' width shall be clear. Place
gate supports out in front of side walls to guarantee that clearance.
Elevation and plan views shall indicate finished inside dimensions, materials used and solid slab
surface. The structure shall be made of solid material. Chain-link may be used for the gate
sections only. Please let me know if you have any questions.
