THESE MINUTES WERE APPROVED AT THE JANUARY 18, 1994, CITY COUNCIL MEETING.
The special meeting of the Edmonds City Council was called to order at 5:05 p.m., by Robert Chave,
Planning Manager, at the Plaza Meeting Room, 650 Main Street, Edmonds.

Planning Manager, Robert Chave, gave a brief overview of the Environmental Impact Statement
(EIS) that was to be prepared and the consultant interviews that were being conducted. Four
consultant teams were being interviewed by the council and each consultant team was given 30
minutes for a presentation and 15 minutes for Council questions. It was agreed that Mr. Chave
would introduce the consultants and keep track of time during the interview portion of the meeting.

The interviews were concluded at 8:25 pm. The council discussed the interviews and the consultant
presentations. At the conclusion of the discussion, Council selected Huckell/Weinman to conduct
the Environmental. Impact Statement for the City of Edmonds and authorized staff and the City
Attorney to prepare the necessary contract and scope of work for Council approval.

With no further business before the Council, the meeting was adjourned at 8:45 pm.
