The Edmonds City Council Community Outreach Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Council
President Marin in the Meadowdale Clubhouse, 6801 North Meadowdale Road,Edmonds.

Dorothy Sacks, 16238 72"d Avenue W, Edmonds, discussed the topic of how to better notify
neighborhoods of the City Council outreach meetings.
Lin Hillman, 15915 74th Place W,Edmonds,requested an update on the landslide work.
John Quast, 15714 75th Place W., Edmonds, talked about Paine Field and asked for the Council's
continued opposition to its expansion for commercial traffic.
Sandy Eastly, 16858 76th Avenue W, Edmonds, inquired about the various speed limits on 76th. There
was a question about visibility landscaping on Talbot and 76th.
Steve Ganmire, 16748 72"d Avenue W, Edmonds, asked what can be done about invasive species on
public property on 76th, specifically ivy and blackberries.
Phil Sacks, 16238 72"d Avenue W, Edmonds, requested the Council bring a PA system to the
community meetings to help everyone hear.
Gail Hankinson, 15925 75th Place W., Edmonds, asked about widening the shoulders along 76th for
pedestrian safety.
Sheryle Bird,7029157th Street SW,Edmonds,pointed out the discussion about two hazards in the area:
landslides and children's safety while walking. Which is a real priority?
Lilly Lichtman, 6801 162"d Place SW, Edmonds, asked about cleaning up that street and"locking out"
pedestrians and their dogs.

The Community Outreach Meeting is a forum for the public to address the
City Council in a less formal format regarding any topic.* Please note that
the meeting is an opportunity for a dialogue with the City Council, however,
the Council will not take action at this meeting.
*Per State law, the City Council may not discuss matters that are scheduled on future
agendas as "Closed Record Review." In addition, the Council may not discuss matters
that are under litigation.
