Ordinance 29660006.030.006B WSS /are 12/22/93 ORDINANCE NO. 2966 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING A PORTION OF THE CITY'S ANNUAL SALARY ORDINANCE FOR 1994 TO PROVIDE FOR PAY INCREASES FOR DIRECTORS AND MANAGERS AND FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES WITHIN THE C -2 TO F- 1 RANGES AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. As part of the City's annual salary ordinance the following performance based pay for nonrepresented employees and salary ranges are hereby approved. 1.1. Performance pay increases for directors and managers above the pay range of C -2 and within the salary range are established on Exhibit A which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference as if set forth in full. 1.2. The salary ranges and salaries of nonrepresented employees are hereby adjusted upward by three percent (3 %) . The salary ranges are adopted as shown on the attached Exhibit A. In addition, the Mayor is .authorized to approve merit increases for employees listed in the C -2 through F -1 . range and the Police Chief Secretary NE -7 effective on the individual employee's anniversary date for the balance of the 1994 fiscal year. Such merit increases shall range between zero percent (0 %) up to five percent (5 %) but shall not exceed the employee's salary range. 63704.1 -1- 1.3. The total increases approved herein or delegated to the Mayor shall not exceed budgeted employee salaries and wages for each department or division. 1.4. Represented employees' salaries and benefits as approved by prior salary ordinances shall remain in full force and effect until amended by action of the City Council. Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance, being an exercise of a power specifically delegated to the City legislative body, is not subject to referendum, and shall take effect five (5) days after passage and publication of'an approved summary thereof consisting of the' title.
