ORDINANCE NO. 3364
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE EDMONDS COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT CODE, SECTION 21.90.120 DEFINING
STREET, AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL
BECOME EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, the provisions of the Edmonds Community Development Code
contain certain discrepancies regarding the definition of street; and
WHEREAS, this matter has been reviewed by the Edmonds Planning Board, who
has recommended clarification of the definition of street in Section 21.90.120 to define it as an
access easement providing vehicular access to five or more lots; and
WHEREAS, following public hearing, the City Council deems it appropriate to
make such amendment, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Edmonds Community Development Code Section 21.90.120
Street is hereby amended to read as follows:
21.90.120 Street.
Street means the public or private right -of -way or access easement
which provides vehicle access to five or more lots.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance, being an exercise of a power specifi-
cally delegated to the City legislative body, is not subject to referendum, and shall take effect

five (5) days after passage and publication of an approved summary thereof consisting of the
title.
