ORDINANCE NO. 3427
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE PROVISIONS OF THE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, WATER COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
ELEMENT, TO INCORPORATE AMENDMENTS, AND
FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL BECOME
EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, state law requires that the City Council consider amendments to its
Comprehensive Plan, both individually and in conjunction with each other, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the Edmonds Planning Board on
May 22, 2002, and
WHEREAS, the matter came on for public hearing before the Edmonds City
Council on June 18, 2002, and based thereon, in its legislative capacity, the Edmonds City
Council deems it to be in the public interest to enact amendments to the Water Comprehensive
Plan Element of the Edmonds Comprehensive Plan, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The 2002 Water Comprehensive Plan, an element of the
Comprehensive Plan, is hereby amended to read as set forth in Exhibit A hereto, incorporated by
this reference as fully as if herein set forth.
Section 2. The Planning Director is hereby authorized to effectuate such changes
to the City's Comprehensive Plan.

Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance, being an exercise of a power specifi-
cally delegated to the City legislative body, is not subject to referendum, and shall take effect
five (5) days after passage and publication of an approved summary thereof consisting of the
title.
