0006.030.006D <br />WSS /gjz <br />12/4/03 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3478 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, <br />WASHINGTON, ESTABLISHING THE SALARY RANGES <br />FOR NON - REPRESENTED EXEMPT PERSONNEL FOR <br />BUDGET YEAR 2004; AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE <br />SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. <br />WHEREAS, RCW 35A.33.050 requires that the salary ranges for the various <br />positions in the City be made a part of the annual budget document as a part of the adoption of an <br />annual budget ordinance, and <br />WHEREAS, after review and discussion, the City Council has determined it <br />appropriate to adjust salary ranges for certain non - represented employees described in the <br />attached Exhibit A in order to permit a salary increase along with approval of a benefit package, <br />and, NOW, THEREFORE, <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The annual salary ordinance for budget year 2003, Ordinance No. <br />3437 is hereby amended to adjust that portion of health insurance benefits (medical, vision and <br />dental) paid by the City to the level of ninety percent (90 %) for all non - represented employees. <br />1.1 The salary ranges and salaries of non - represented <br />employees are hereby adjusted upward by two and one -half <br />percent (2.5 %). The salary ranges adopted are shown on the <br />attached Exhibit A. <br />1.2 In addition, the Mayor is authorized to approve merit <br />increases for employees listed in Exhibit A effective on the <br />{WSS558395.DOC;1/00006.030006/} - I - <br />
