0006.90000 <br />WSS /gjz <br />3/23/04 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3493 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, <br />WASHINGTON, DESIGNATING THE EDMONDS <br />HISTORICAL MUSEUM FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE <br />CARNEGIE LIBRARY, FOR INCLUSION ON THE EDMONDS <br />REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES, DIRECTING THE <br />COMMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTOR OR HIS DESIGNEE TO <br />DESIGNATE THE SITE ON THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP <br />WITH AN "HR" DESIGNATION, AND FIXING A TIME <br />WHEN THE SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. <br />WHEREAS, the Edmonds Historical Museum, formerly known as the Carnegie <br />Library, located at 118 5th Avenue North, Edmonds, Washington, has been nominated for <br />inclusion on the Edmonds Register of Historic Places; and <br />WHEREAS, on behalf of the owner, City of Edmonds, its Mayor has consented to <br />such designation; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received the recommendation of the Historic <br />Preservation Commission reviewing the designation criteria and finds that the application meets <br />the criteria of the ordinance as contained in Chapter 20.45 of the Edmonds Community <br />Development Code, NOW, THEREFORE, <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1.
