Motion carried. Councilman Slye made a motion, seconded by Councilman Lambe that the En;;ineernbe authorized to set the street grade on Admiral ?lay from Dayton Street ,outh to the City Limits. Motion carried. It was moved by Councilman Sorensen, seconded by Councilman Slye that Tri-City Sand & Gravel be permitted to place their crane track crossing on Admiral 'Jay, the installation to be under the supervision of the City Engineer. Motion carried. • A letter of resignation as City �n•gineer was read from James H. Reid, and was accepted with regret by the Mayor and Council. Tleeting was then recessed to December 26, 1961. December 26, 1961 Recessed meeting was called to order by Mayor McGinness with all councilmen present except Harrison. A Public Hearing was held on the proposed 6-year Street Improvement Program for the purpose of submitting the Plan to the state for matching funds. There were no protests either written or from the audience. Therefore, after discussion, it was moved by Councilman Sorensen, seconded by Councilman Slye that Resolution #61 be passed, incorporating a 6 year street improvement program as submitted by the Engineer on his Exhibit "A", with the addition of Item 413, the • improvement of Third Avenue from Main to the south City Limits. The hearing was then closed, and the motion carried. A motion was made by Councilman Sorensen, seconded by Councilman Simpson that an installation of a temporary regulator station by the PUD on city property in the vicinity of 101' Avenue, bordering Main be allowed. Motion carried. It was moved by Councilman Tuson, seconded by Councilman Slye that the city call forAb�for the sale of 7 used pumps by the Water Dept. Motion carried. There was no further business, and the meeting was adjourned. City Clerk Mayor January 21 1962 Regular meeting was called to order by Mayor McGinness with all councilmen present. Hearing was held on the Final Assessment Roll on LID #106, Sprague Street sewer. There were no protests, and a motion was made by Councilman Tuson, seconded by Councilman Lambe that Ordinance ;rz916 be passed, approving and confirming the final assessment roll on LID #106. Motion carried. It was moved by Councilman Sorensen and seconded by Councilman Lambe that all the regular monthly bills be paid, and warrants.drawn on the proper funds. Motion carried. •
