HAHN DIRECTOR SUBJECT: LETTERS OF FEBRUARY 7, 1992 REGARDING PAVEMENT CONDITION ON BROOKMERE DR. AND SAFETY HAZARD AT SR 524 AND 12TH AVE. N. Dear Mr. Drake, Having received your.letters of February 7, the Engineering Division can appreciate your concerns. Because there is no history of accidents at the intersection of Puget Drive and 12th Ave. N., it was not known as a safety hazard. A field check of the location has been made and your concern can be understood. Further investigation will be done to see what can be done to prevent a potential accident. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are aware that the pavement condition on Brookmere Drive is bad. Last year, that portion of the street was scheduled.to be overlayed, but there simply was not funding to allow us to pave all of the streets we wanted to. The street will again be put on the program and, if possible, it will be paved. Otherwise, the Street Maintenance Division will be requested to make additional temporary repairs.
