SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR RESTORATION OF DRAINAGE CONSTRUCTION
CONDITIONS
Mr. Leif R. Larson, Director of Public Works Department has
assured me all work will be completed by December 22, 1978. Trench
leveling, top soil application, grass reseeding, and mail box post
replacement has been completed and crews are awaiting favorable
weather to install the concrete walk this week. We regret the
inconvienence and delay due to other recent storm maintenance require-
ments.
Please contact the Street Division, of the Public Works Depart-
ment for any further questions.

will investigate your complaint and report his findings

Dear Sir:
On October 27, 1978 the street in front
of my home was repaved.
During that week the city crew dug a
ditch (in front of my home) on city
property (between the curb and my rockery)
taking out clay, my lawn and the concrete
walk from. my stairs to the corb. They r-vT
tile in the .ditch, gravel and dirt on top.
The foreman said everything would be
replaced in the condition as before.,
As of this date, they have not. It looks
terrible.
This condition has to be seen, to be
believed. People are always asking what
happened.
It looks like have waited.long enough
for this to be taken care of..
While working on the ditch'a city truck
broke off my neighbor's (1040) mail box
post,.and that has not been fixed.
