As noted on our approved Drainage Plan for the above referenced project, the slope of
the driveway exceeds 14 percent. It is our undcrstanding that this is not allowed
without special authorization. The character of the site and the design of the house
are such that a slope greater th&u 14 percent is required for vehicular access to the
lower garage, namely 20 percent maximum. Also, this drive will be used only for
seasonal access to storage areas on the lower floor. Due to thcsc constraints and the
fact that the drivcway slope is entirely on, private property we would like to zequest
the required authorization to construct the driveway as designed. PIease contact me if
