Acct. # 216425 ?r am 67 Z 5 Dear Mr. Holland: Earlier this week (August 19th), we returned from vacation and found a notice from your department indicating that we had a leak in the water line that runs from the street to our home. We contacted a plumber immediately and he was able to make repairs the neat day. From conversations with neighbors it is their opinion that a heavy track drove of the driveway area and put enough pressure on the water line to crack it and thus cause the leak.. A representative from your department was very helpful and suggested that we seek relief for payment of the excess water that leaked from the pipe during the time that we were out of town. A review of previous bills indicates that we usually consume between 18-20 (100)cubic feet of water in a two month period. Any consideration of relief would be greatly appreciated.
