Thanks for your patience on this issue. I have discussed this with the Building Official and found documentation in our
files.
Because both floors have limited access/exits, the occupant load of each floor will be 49. 1 would request that you work
through the Museum officials and provide occupant load signs for each level, placed just above the door on the interior
side.
Let me know if you have any other questions, or if we need to discuss the emergency evacuation plans.

Happy New Year.
After discussion with Building Official Leif Bjorback, we came to conclusion that what you're asking is to rent the space
for events. Key consideration and limiting factor for the Museum is that it only has one "approved" exit from above,
hence the number of persons attending would be limited to 49. Adding private assembly events to the museum viewing
area changes the function of the space and City's concern is being able to sufficiently evacuate during a building
emergency.

Description
The Series 600 Heat Detector is attractive and durable,
and features combination rate -of -rise and fixed -
temperature detectors. Heat detectors are available In
1350E and 2000E temperature ratings
Rate -of -rise detects heat by quickly responding to rapid
temperature increase. Rate -of -rise units have wide
spacing allowance of 50-foot centers. See Specification
Table for details.
Fixed temperature reacts to heat by responding to. a
specific temperature setting.
Series 600 Detectors use the same reliable pneumatic
rate -of -rise element used In former models, but offer
added aesthetic appeal.
The pneumatic rate -of -rise element responds to a rapid
rise in temperature, approximately 150F. (WC) per minute,
by expansion of air within the sealed chamber faster than
it can escape through a calibrated vent. The resultant
Increase in pressure depresses the diaphragm, causing
the electrical contact to close the circuit.
The fixed temperature element uses a fusible'ail'oy.
When activated, the external heat collector drops away to
provide quick visual confirmation that the element has
operated.
The units protrude only 1 % inch from the ceiling surface
with a junction box mounting. They have pleasing
contours and an all -white finish that conforms to ceiling
aesthetics.

Each detector includes a patented reversible mounting
plate. In -one position, it easily attaches to 4" junction box,
3'/." octagon box or plaster ring.
In reverse, the plate can be used for open wiring
without a junction box. A X" space between detector and
mounting surface allows for wire connections. All

The detector simply attaches to the mounting plate with
a push and twist motion. No tools required.
Mounting plate is molded of white self -extinguishing
thermoplastic rated at 1050C. The plate is extremely
strong yet adapts to uneven mounting surfaces.

Series 600 Testing Methods
Models 601 /621 and 602/622 can be tested by the
application of quick heat from any convenient source. A
portable hair dryer is recommended. However, do not
apply heat that exceeds the fixed temperature rating of
the detector.
Models 603/623 and 604/624 cannot be tested.
However, the fusible alloy element is generally
considered so reliable that testing is not necessary.

Descriptlon
The Series 600 Heat Detector Is attractive and'durable,
and features combination rate -of -rise and fixed -
temperature detectors. Heat detectors are available in
135OF and 200°F temperature ratings
Rate -of -rise detects heat by quickly responding to rapid
temperature increase. Rate -of -rise units have wide
spacing allowance of 50-foot centers. See Specification
Table for details.
Fixed temperature reacts to heat by responding to a
specific temperature setting.
Series 600 Detectors use the same reliable pneumatic
rate -of -rise element used in former models, but offer
added aesthetic appeal.
The pneumatic rate -of -rise element responds to a rapid
rise in temperature, approximately 15°F. (SaC) per minute,
by expansion of air within the sealed chamber faster than
it can escape through a calibrated vent. The resultant
increase in pressure depresses the diaphragm, causing
the electrical contact to close the circuit.
The fixed temperature element uses a fusible alloy.
When activated, the external heat collector drops away to
provide quick visual confirmation that the element has
operated.
The units protrude only 1% inch from the ceiling surface
with a junction box mounting. They have pleasing
contours and an ail -white finish that conforms to ceiling
aesthetics.
Installation
Each detector includes a patented reversible mounting
plate. In one position, it easily attaches to 4" junction box,
3'/," octagon box or plaster ring.
In reverse, the plate can be used for open wiring
without a junction box. A''/," space between detector and
mounting surface allows for wire connections. All

The detector simply attaches to the mounting plate with
a push and twist motion. No tools required.
Mounting plate is molded of white self -extinguishing
thermoplastic rated at 1050C. The plate is extremely
strong yet adapts to uneven mounting surfaces.

Series 600 Testing Methods
Models 601 /621 and 602/622 can be tested by the
application of quick heat from any convenient source. A
portable hair dryer is recommended. However, do not
apply heat that exceeds the fixed temperature rating of
the detector.
Models 603/623 and 604/624 Cannot be tested.
However, the fusible alloy element Is generally
considered so reliable that testing is not necessary.

When you put the D72128 in Fire Test Mode, the panel
sends a report to the central station to indicate the start
of the test. Test events then become "local only." The
D1255 command center shows how many points are to
be tested.
Each time a device initiates an alarm, the programmed
point text displays at the command center. The
automatic sensor reset feature of the Fire Test Mode
allows you to continue testing additional deviceswithout
time consuming trips to the command centerto manually
reset sensors. At the end of the test, the D1255
displays the number of untested points. You can also
view the point text for each untested point.
When you take the 1372128 out of Fire Test Mode, the
panel sends a report to the receiver indicating the
completion of the test.

to print the event log locally. You can retrieve selected
events from the event log with the D5300 Remote
Account Manager 11 (RAM 11).

The 07212's internal clock and calendar help the panel
operate individual Skeds (scheduled events). You can
program each Sked to perform a specific function (such

Sked is programmed for a time and either a day of the
week schedule or a date of the year schedule.

The D1255 features an illuminated keypad, a 16
character vacuum fluorescent display, and
programmable text. Apull-up reference card and labeled
keypad provide a quick reference to common command
center features and system displays.
The built-in speaker emits distinct warning tones. As
you press each key, the speaker emits a muted beep
to indicate That your entry was accepted.
D720 LED Command Center
The keypadfeatures an LED annunciatorforupto eight
points. The D720 also offers standard numeric keys, a
COMMAND bar, ENT key and an A, 8 and C key that
can be programmed to execute specific commands.

Description
The Radionics D7212B Control/Communicator, with
Programming and accessory modules, is a flexible and
unique security alarm control system. Using its built-in
digital communicator, the D72128 Control/
Communicator is an alarm processing control panel
capable of reporting up to eight unique account numbers.
The D7212B features "area" programming to offer you
a .wide selection of system configurations. You can
program up to eight areas in the system - or - assign
each area a unique account number -or- every area to
the same account number -or- several areas to one
account number and other areas to different account
numbers.

The D1256 Command Center
Command Centers
The D7212B has a fully programmable user interface
to make it possible to customize command center
displays and simplify operation. The D7212B supervises
up to eight command centers
D1255 Command Centers provide on -premises point
and system status annunciation. The command center
uses a 16-character English language display.
The D720 Command Center, a low profile surface
mount, four -wire unit, can annunciate up to eight
protective points using an LED display. The command
center has a COMMAND bar, an ENT (ENTER) key,
number keys, and A. 8 and C keys for quick functions.
Commands
The D72128 includes easy to remember command
functions. It has familiar commands like Command 1,
Command 2 and Command 0.. plus new ones like
Command 00 to unbypass a point.
Command Menu and Custom Functions
The Command Menu can be programmed to list
command features and Custom Functions to be
accessed at Individual command centers.
Custom Functions allow users to perform complex
functions with a few keystrokes. Up to 4 Custom
Functions can be programmed, each identified by 16
characters of custom text. You can program the panel
with functions containing up to 32 keystrokes.
User Passcodes
You can program up to 75 user passcodes in the
D7212B. Passcodes. are 3 to 6 digits In length with no
fixed digits. Assigning user passcodes to one of the 14
programmable authority levels, and one or more of the
8 areas determines each user's access to the system.
You can assign the passcode a different authority level
for each area.
Point Expansion
• Up to 48 detection points (eight on -board and 40
off -board)
The 07212B provides eight "on -board" points. Add an
expansion interface and up to 40 additional points to
provide up to 48 points.
The D1255 Command Center shows the status of
individual points with custom text. If you program the
D72125 to send reports in the Modem fl format to a
Radionics D6500 Receiver, point reports include the
custom text shown at the command center.
Each point can be assigned to any one of the eight
areas. points can be assigned in any order-- numerical
sequence is not important. points can be re -assigned
to a different area without changing the point number.
Modem 11 Reporting Format
The Modem 11 Format, available with Radionics' D6500
Receiver and the D7212B, adds these reporting
capabilities — to name just a few:
• Reports individual point numbers
• Reports individual point text
• Openinglclosing reports from up to 75 users
• Separately identified Opening/Closing reports
from each of the eight areas
• Reports programming attempts made by remote
programmers
• Expanded Diagnostic Reports
Report Groups
The D7212B sorts events into one of 12 Report Groups:
fire alarm, fire trouble, non -fire alarm, trouble, open/
close, test report, diagnostic, relays, Skeds, HAM,
phone/power supervision, and service.
You can program the 07212E to route reports from
each group to one or more of four receiver phone
numbers. You select one of the phone numbers as
primary for the report group. You can also select one
number as backup and one number as duplicate forthe
group. A phone number can be designated as primary
for one or more groups and back-up or duplicate for
others.
Fire Test
In the Fire Test Mode, the D7.2 i em suppresses reports

Dear Sirs
On July 20,1978 we received a letter from you after you had inspected
the Edmonds Museum, we have corrected the followings
1. The street address on the door is in 3 inch `numbers, and as we do not
use the door we feel that it is the best place to have them.
2. The lower level fire extinguisher was tested and serviced.
3. The weaving machine was removed from in front on the panel breaker
lower level.
4. All waste paper baskets are now metal.
5. We can remove barring devices from lower level door, but we feel that
most of the time there are only one or two people in there at any one
time and they can easily be removed as the nails have been taken out.
6. The pressurized water extinguisher has been served, upper level.
7. The fire extinguisher, upper level is now on a mounting bracket.
We have also purchased a new CO 2 ,upper level to replace the small one.
8. A coverplate was put on the junction box located in the storage area
upper level, however the wires are dead and the plate is so marked.
