Naughten Mayor SUBJECT: EDMONDS MUSEUM Attached is a workup of a proposal for the expansion of the Edmonds Museum. Representative John Beck is going to see if there are any matching funds available in Olympia that could be used to achieve this expansion. The addition would add about 2,200 sq. feet to the existing site. Two questions would remain, (1) the relocation of the present Edmonds Chamber office and, (2) what are the requirements of the State regard- ing the museum being an historical site. Naughten Mayor SUBJECT: HISTORICAL MUSEUM cE'v FILE The Historical Museum has requested that the City consider•.a'feasibil- ity study on the possibility of expanding the museum to the north to the full potential of the property that the City owns, eliminating the Chamber of Commerce building. How much expansion could be done, and what would the approximate cost be (an estimate) of adding on to the museum. Please give me your best guess on estimates and availability of land so that I can get back to the Historical Society. Thank you.
