Dear Lara:
Boy, did we open up a can of worms!!! All we wanted to do was move the four
mailboxes, at the apartment house we own on Sunset Ave., from one wall to another. We
asked our daily mail carrier and he referred" us to Bruce Deans at the Edmonds Post office.
When I told the addresses of the apartment building ---- 13 5, 135 1/2, 137 & 137 1/2--
yes, four addresses for ONE building, Mr. Dean said that the new machinery didn't read
half addresses and before he would allow us to change the location of the mail boxes we
had to check with the city of Edmonds and get their approval.
I told Lara, at the city, that we would like to use 131 for the WHOLE building and then
the apartments would be, 101, 102, 201 and 202. She said this was fine with her but that
this letter should be sent to the city so that it could be kept on file for the fire department,
etc. We chose 137 as that is the address that the water department and the garbage
service use.
We will notify our four tenants so that they can make the proper changes for their new
address.

Traffic Control and Public Safety shall be in accordance with City regulations as required by the City Engineer.
All street cut ditches shall be patched with asphalt or City approved material prior to the end of the working day;

available on sit at all times for inspection purposes.
