SUBJECT: Vehicle speeds on 68th Ave W In response to the Community meeting on July 12, 1 had speed counters.put out at16'11"6:68th`AueW on August 26, 1996. The technicjan did not leave the speed counters out for a full twenty-four hour period, so the information is not completely useful to your officers. I am anticipating that the speeds will be monitored again early this month. The data that has been collected is attached, and you may find it informative. Please not that the southbound speeds at the 85th percentile are nearly 10 mph over the posted limit of 25 mph. Nearly 70% of the traffic exceeds the posted limit. I will forward copies of the additional speed counts to your office when they are completed.
