I will also approve your temporary relocation of the dumpster to your proposed location in the City right of way adjacent to the City street to the north of your driveway until the permanent relocation onto your private property is.completed (no later than February 28). I have given Jeannie a rough first draft of proposed site improvement necessary to accommodate relocation which requires a hard level surface for the garbage truck to access the dumpster. As I understand all the pertinent city codes and regulations, only a right of way construction permit will be necessary for this project. The bids I have received from paving contractors so far estimate approximately 3 - 4 weeks to complete project after permit has been issued. I am requesting an extension of time to relocate the dumpster until site work is finished. I can leave dumpster in existing location, which will be easiest for construction, or I can temporarily move dumpster to site adjacent to City Street. Dumpster has been here since September, and light volume of traffic did not seem to pose a hazard until I received your letter. I will promptly remove the enclosure which will improve sight distance hazard. Right of way construction permit should be completed and submitted to your office by Friday 25, 2002.
