It has come to the attention of the Engineering Division that large rocks are located
within the public right-of-way, immediately adjacent to the roadway at the subject
address. While we understand that homeowners place rocks in this location to provide
a barricade to vehicles entering nicely maintained yards, these particular rocks are
placed too close to the roadway. The City can be held liable in some cases if a vehicle
hits those rocks.
Your cooperation in relocating the rocks approximately five feet west of the edge of the
roadway is appreciated. I can be contacted at 771-0220 to answer any further questions.
