As you are aware and per your request, the City has had the vegetation and large rocks
removed from the 72 nd Ave. W street right of way frontage just to the south of your
property. We have now completed a field review and have concluded that this work has
created sufficient sight distance for you to enter the street right of way from your driveway
I understand that you are also requesting that the elevation of the road shoulder be graded
to match the adjoining frontage between your property and your neighbors. This requires
removal of a mound of dirt located in front of your neighbors property. The City has no
need or interest to perform this work. However, City code does allow for the adjoining
property of the street frontage to perform minor grading and landscaping.
Please call Development Services Department at 425-771-0220 and ask for an engineering
technician if you have any question. Also, we recommend that you call the utility locate
telephone number 1-800-424-5555 prior to any excavation work.
