Dear Mr. Mills: Re; Excessive Water bill
due to accidental leakage
I am writing in reference to an excessive water bill
for the period prior to Sept. 1987.
It has come to your attention previously that damage to
our water service line to our residence caused two separate leaks.
This damage, described in my previous'letters to Edmonds City
Water Dept., evidently occurred when the'da'Hitary sewer
manhole casing was installed. From the evidence we found,
the water service line was forcibly rerouted by the sewer
installer. The black plastic'*pipe was overstressed,, and after some
years these two leaks showed up.
After a cost of $1204 to me, a3fix was made, hopefully to
be the end of the problem.
Any consideration for reducing this water charge would be
appreciated.
