CRITICALAREAS CHECKLIST
The Critical Areas Checklist contained on this form- is -
to be filled out by any person preparing a
Development Permit Application for the City of
Edmonds Prior to his/her submittal of a development
permit to the City.
The purpose of the Checklist is to enable City staff to
determine whether any potential Critical Areas are, or
may be, present on the subject property. The
information needed to complete the.Checklist. should
be easily available from observations of the site or
data available at City Hall (Critical areas inventories,
maps, or soil surveys).
An applicant or his/her representative, must fill out
the checklist, sign and date it, and submit it to the
City. The City will review the checklist� make a
I precursory site visit and make a determination of the
subsequent steps necessary to complete a development
permit application.
Please submit a vicinity map, along.wiih the signed
copy of this form to assist City staff in finding and
locating the specific piece of property described on
this form. In addition, the applicant shall.include

On March 7,1990 at 10:40 A.M. we were door hung and our water
was turned off by your meter reader Loii. She to�ok the trouble
to talk to our next door neighbor and find our where my husband

worked. He was contacted and hurried hofiie to �h
leak wasn't internal.
We contacted our plumber as Lori indicated. The leak was not
at the meter or at our home's connection, but somewhere in
between on the 500 foot access road we are on. Due to the
rain and the busy building trade we have been without water
since March 7th. We believe we shall have water today.
I was told the necessary procedure for reducing this tremendous
water bill was to write to you and explain the situation and
then we would be charged on the previous months reading. What
a shock to get a 215.12.-wa'.te*r.-bill.
I would also like to thank Scott Highland for his help and caring
attitude during these trying three weeks. If there is ever an
employee award I should like to cast my vote for Scott. I was left
with the task to find and hire a company; calling locate etc.
Scott was great.
