The Engineering Division reviewed the subject proposal. The following revisions are required.
1. Please submit orifice size calculations.
2. Provide a vent tube between catch basin and detention pipe.
3. Show how roadway turnaround drainage will be collected by Catch Basin #4.
4. Maximum permitted distance between sanitary sewer cleanouts is 100 feet.
5. Add a note on the plans: "Lot I is to access Tract A only." No direct access to Sunset Way
will be permitted.
6. Minimum width of Tract A is 20 feet.
7. Maintain two feet of clearance ("shy" distance) between the edge of the road and. the face
of the rockery.
8. A minimum paving width of 16 feet is required.
9. Extruded curb is required for drainage control on roads with design grades greater than 6%.
When the revisions are complete, please submit three sets of civil drawings and the requested
orifice size calculations for review. If you have any questions regarding drainage, do not hesitate
to contact Don Fiene, Hydraulics Engineer at 771-0220. If you have other questions, do not

The CriticalAreas Checklist contained on

preparing a Development Permit
Application for the City of Edmonds prior to
his/her submittal of a development permit to
the City.
The purpose of the Checklist is to �enable �
City staff to determine whether any potential
Critical Areas are or may be present on the
subject property. The information needed to
complete the Checklist should be easily
available from observations of the site or
data available at City Hall (Critical Areas
inventories, maps, or soil surveys).
An applicant, or his/her representative, must
,-'fill out the checklist, sign and date it, and
submit it to the City. The City will review
the checklist, make a precursory site visit,
and make a determination of the subsequent
steps necessary to complete a development
permit application.
With a signed copy of this form, the
applicant should also suhmit a vicinity map
orplotplan for individual lots. of the parcel
with enough detail that City staff can find
and identify the subject parcel(s). In
addition, the applicant shall include other
pertinent information (e.g. site plan,
topography map, etc.) or studies in
conjunction with this Checklist to assist
staff in completing their preliminary
assessment of the site.
