Treiger Bank of California Center 23rd Floor 900 Fourth Avenue Seattle, Wa. :98164 PROPERTY AT 18502-76TH AVENUE WEST (BN) This is in resppnse to your letter of May 5, 1978. Review of our records' and a field inspection has shown that fencing'was erected on this property but it does not comply with the requirements of ADB-17-76 (see attached report), therefore, issuance of the permit is denied. Since the ' Zoning Code requires ' that all uses shall be conducted within the structure, the.material should be removed, and not stored behind a fence. In response to Mr. Faste's request for time to remove the materials, I shall conditionally approve the issuance of a Business License for 30 days. Harry M. Whitcutt Building Official HMW/ae cc: Faste lob, kj* N ut 6-o 0 7-9?8 MAY 17, 1978 -comicnitj-14, z &CIP7011cli MEMO TO: Harry Whitcutt Building Official FROM: Don Bickle Planning Tech. SUBJECT: INSPECTION OF FENCE AT 18502 76th AV. W. ( Corner Store ) The fence that has been constructed at this site does not conform to the approved plan submitted to the ADB on March 3,1976. There is only two sections built and each are different styles. One is made of what appears to be a section of an old wall. It is 3 to 4 inch beveled siding and is approximately 20, in length. The other section is vertical boards that are close to the approved design. There is a 7,to 8 foot opening ( no gate ) between the two sections. To the south of the building no fence has been built but this area is neater in appearance and if kept clean may not need a screen. In the other section of the yard there is several piles of old lumber and m1sc- 3unk that the existing fencing does not screen. ( See attached drawing ). 0 l Cr -rO StAL-e . I W 10 F_ 13 0 A,9-D!) During original codification, the ordinances were com- piled, edited and indexed by the editorial staff of Book Pub- lishing Company under the direction of James Murphy, city attorney. The code is organized by subject matter under an expand- able three -factor decimal numbering system which is designed to facilitate supplementation without disturbing the number ing of existing provisions. Each section number designates, in sequence, the numbers of the title, chapter, and section. Thus, Section 18.12-050 is Section .050, located in Chapter .12 of Title'18. In most instances, sections are numbered by tens (.010, .020, .030, etc.), leaving.nine vacant posi- tions between original sections to accommodate future provi- sions. Similarly, chapters and titles are numbered to provide for internal expansion. In parentheses following each section is a legislative history identifying the specific sources for the provisions of that section. This legislative history is complemented by an ordinance disposition table, following the text of the code, listing by number all ordinances, their subjects and where they appear in the codification. Footnotes referring to applicable statutory provisions are located throughout the text. A subject -matter index, with complete cross-referencing, locates specific code provisions by individual section numbers. This supplement dated May 15, 1977, brings the code up to date through Ordinance 1918, passed May 3, 1977.
