SUBJECT: Seaview Elementary School Pedestrian Safejy Improvements
Dear Resident,
The City of Edmonds will be making pedestrian safety improvements along 188h Street
SW. One of these improvements is the placement of a timed beacon school zone sign
fronting your property. In order to enable vehicles to see this new sign, we are now
asking that you trim the trees that encroach into the right-of-way on 188h Street SW.
Please contact either the Public Works Department (425-771-0235) or me to assist you
with the proper amount of vegetation needing to be removed. If you have any questions,
please contact me at 425-771-0220. Thank you for your participation in these safety
enhancements.
