NOTE No. I —The owners of the property may obtain a permit to construct sewer inside property line. A licensed Side Sewer Contractor must be employed to construct
side sewer in street area. Do not cover any portion of sewer before It hag been inspected.
NOTE No. 2—All work performed in city right-of-way requires an Invasion of Right -of -Way Permit obtainable from the City Engineer's office.
NOTE No. 3 --- Obtain full information regarding Ordinance 11.16.030 and Regulations governing side sewers when you get permit.
NOTE No. 4—Top of side sewer must have at least 30 inches coverage at property line and 12 Inches inside property line; minimum' grade of 2.T,. No bends in grade
shexper than % will be permitted.
NOTE No. 5—Trenches in street must be water settled and surface of street restored to original condition. Contractors shall be responsible for failure due to improper
work which may develop within one year of completion.
NOTE No. 6--It is unlawful to alter or do any other work than is provided for in the permit, or to do any work on the main sewer or its appurtenances, except to in-
sert the pipe into the wye.

Problem: There has been no change in the problems on Water St. and Ocean Ave. There
is still the same cruising of cars., which starts in the afternoon. The speeding
can exist anytime. There is parking after 10:00 p.m. There is still the problem
of having to pick up bottles, general garbage and clothing. The speeding is a
danger, plus it rips up the street to -a point where we have pot -holes within
a few days after the street department repairs them. The roar from the motor-
cycles and h.ot rods can destroy the serenity during the day or the 'middle of the
night.
Solution: Move the LOCAL ACCESS, sign on Water Street nearer the corner- at Sound View Place.
Change the signs reading "no parking after 1011 to "no parking anytime", plus add
two more signs reading, "no parking anytime" and placing one at each end of Ocean
Ave. where most of the parking is done. We also request that the Police Depart-
ment, when not on.a higher priority call, enforce the"local access only"in an
effort to stop the cruising. Right now it is incongruous to have a sign that
reads (�1ocal,__access only -"land other signs beyond that point, reading "no parking
after 10-:00 P.m.,,
