LDO: j t Attachments /J"� &&-V- vyrn, me 0 1 7 2 3-76 January 23, 1976 VMEMO FOR RECORD Subject: Side -Sewer Installation at 19031 - 83rd Avenue LVest On January 15, 1976, Russ Johnson contacted me regarding a sewer lateral at 19031 - 83rd Avenue We�t. The existing sewer lateral was not deep enough to connect to the side -sewer Russ was installing. The City's as-built.map indicated the lateral to be 10 feet deep; but after my visual inspection and measurements, I found the lateral to be only 8 feet deep. Russ Johnson then asked me if the City would lower the lateral to the proper depth or if he should complete the job as long as his equipment and material were on the job site and bill the City accordingly. I felt that since he was already there, he should complete the job. This would save the time of pulling our crews and equipment from their current job. However, I first confirmed this arrangement with Jack Mitchell, who agreed and requested I assist in the lowering of the lateral. Russ agreed to this and the lateral was lowered to the proper depth.
