The City is currently in the process of designing a. drainage system to alleviate the chronic drainage problems that ex- ist in the 194th St. S.W. area and the large field that sits on the easterly side of your aforementioned property. This system should remove the water that currently ponds in the field adjacent to your house and dry out your yard if you have any problems with either sur- face runoff or a high ground water table. In order to install this drainage system in the most -cost effec- tive manner,'we would like to cross your property diagonally at the extreme southeast corner. This should be limited to within'5�1 ± of,yout. southeast corner, and it will not involve the removal of any trees. In addition, upon completion of the construction, your yard would be returned to the original condition. In order to do this, we will need an easement from you; and since the construction season is drawing near, we need to resolve the easement as soon as possible. Johnston. I own a home at-,19-4114-:80th Pladd, West Edmonds, WA. 98026. During our last big wind storm a tree blew down and damaged a portion of a metal leantwo I have had for many years. The leantwo roof is attached to the North side of my house and is about 16' long and extends 9' out from my house to the north property line. It is not a carport and is primarily used for storage or a covered place to work. I received a letter saying that some neighbor had complained and brought up the issue of not pulling a permit for this repair. The only work that was done after the storm was to replace the facia board on my house, repair a gutter and replace 4ea. 2x4's and nail back down 4-new corigut sheet metal panels. The leantwo was built years ago. If the issue here is that the structure is to close to the property line my neighbor (who was consulted when we built the fence together) said he has no issues with the location and I have asked him to sign below stating that he has given me permission to abut the fence with my leantwo for as long as he remains at his/her current address or changes his mind. I have no neighbors to the rear of the property as it is a wooded lot. The neighbors to the South have no view of my house or yard as their yard is treed on their fence line. I spoke to my neighbor West of my house who's view is unobstructed of the damage and repair that was done. He also agreed to sign my letter indicating he has no issues concerning the lean to as well.
