Fence constructed in private easement

The City received a complaint that a f ence was constructed down the
middle of a joint private access easement. Upon investigation by
the building inspector, it was discovered that a 3 foot fence was
built without the required f ence permit. A correction notice dated
9/04/90 was posted. On 9/11/90 the City received a letter from the
owner of the fence Mr. Gregory Baker; the letter stated that it was
his intention to purchase his neighbors portion of the easement.
On October 10, 1990 Mrs. Baker informed the City that they were
unable to reach an agreement with the neighbor and the fence would
be removed within 15 days.
Case Closed.
