If has been brought to our attention that several large rocks have been placed within the City right-of- way at this location. Placement of landscape rocks within the City right-of-way requires an approved right-of-way construction permit. Placement of rockeries within the City right-of-way is prohibited. The City of Edmonds is requesting'that you remove the rocks located within the City right-of-way and place them on private property. If you would like to locate the landscape rocks within the City right-of-way you may submit a right-of-way construction permit application for review and approval. Typically, landscape rocks that are approved for location within the City right-of7way shall not be larger than two -man rock (18"-28" in diameter) and shall not be closer than 10' from the edge of pavement. Please note that until a permit application is submitted for and reviewed by staff, a determination of approval cannot be made.
