The recent rains stopped three days ago(_�ujt the drainage is still overflowing .and still -running across the road in front of my home. My concerns are compounded by the realization that the house being constructed directly behind me and above me covers a large area and the drainage from the building alone is bound to. be considerable. The water that runs from the heavy rains, sometimes for a whole day after the rain has stopped, became apparent for the first time after a forested area was cleared and homes were built to the northeast of my home about nine or ten years ago. It has not run for this long before or in only the area in front of my home. Several years ago, this concern was brought to the attention of the hydraulics engineers who assured me that drainage would be taken care of in any future developments.
