The attached letter from Ries & Jameson, Attorneys at Law, was sent to you
over a year ago. The builder has not only begun the construction, but has
chopped down -a very large tree and some smallerones.
The recent'rains stopped three days �aqo bout the drainage is still overflowing
and still -running across the roadin froInt of my home. My concerns are
compounded by the realization that the house being constructed directly
behind me and above -me covers a large area and the drainage from the building
alone is bound to.,be considerable.
The water that runs from the heavy rairip, sometimes for a whole day after the
rain.has stopped, became apparent for the first time after a forested area was
cleared and homes were built to the northeast of my home about nine'or ten
years ago.
It 11as not run for this long before or in only the area in front of my home.
Several years ago, this concern was brought to the attention of the hydraulics
engineers who assured me that drainage would be taken care of in any future
developments.

I have been contacted by Laura Connolly who resides at 19805
88th Ave. West regarding the proposed building of a new home due
east of her home. Ms. Connolly is very concerned about how the
clearing of that lot will affect water runoff, as the topography of
the land slopes severely from east to west, and she will be
donwhill from the proposed new home. Ms. Connolly already suffers
runoff problems on her property, and does not want to have a more
serious problem.
Part of the reason for Ms. Connolly's concern is that her
neighbor to the north, Frank Johnson, at 19705 88th Ave. West,
suffered extreme water runoff problems when a home was built to the
east of his home creating additional runoff.
Ms. Connolly would like you to be aware of the potential
runoff problem, so that you may require the builder to provide
appropriate drainage so that Ms. Connolly's property is not
affected.
If your engineers would wish to take a closer look at the
situation, they may contact Ms. Connolly at 776-8681 to go out and
view Ms. Connolly's property and the proposed building site to see
how the clearing of the lot may affect water runoff.

88th Ave. West reprding the proposed building of a new home due
east of her homer .
Ms. Connolly is very concerned about how the
clearing of that lot will affect water runoff, as the topography of
the land slopes severely from east to west, and she will be
donwhill from the proposed new home. Ms. Connolly already suffers
runoff problems on her property, and does not want to have a more
serious problem.

Part of the reason for Ms. Connolly's concern is that her
neighbor to the north, frank Johnson, at 19705 88th Ave. West,
suffered extreme water runoff problems when a'home was built to the
east of his home creating additional runoff.
Ms. Connolly would like you to be aware of the potential
runof f problem, so that you may require the builder to provide
appropriate drainage so that Ms. Connolly's property is not
affected.
If your engineers would wish to take a closer look at the
situation, they may contact Ms. Connolly at 776-86-81 to go out and
view Ms. Connolly's property and the proposed building site to see
how the clearing of the lot may affect water runoff.
