The followi ' ng calculations are based upon a field investigation of
the site and a.study of the City of Edmonds Comprehensive Plan for Storm
Drainage surrounding the subject property.

A 12'.' concrete pipe runs along the North line of this property between
Lots 13.and 14. This pipe handle's approximately' 12.2 c.f.s. An additional
overflow 12'.'.pipe runs Northerly and takes care of most of the road drainage
in 89th Place West.
This pipe open discharges Westerly into the valley at the end of the
cul-de-sac.
The proposed 21".C.M.P. will run.along the South line of Lot 14, Maple-
wood Estates in a 7.5 storm drainage easement. Thence the drainage will flow
Northwesterly to the South line of Lot 13. There it will continue in its
existing open ditch to the South line of.Lots 12 and 17. At this point the
drainage enters a closed 18" C.M.P. system.

Our survey crew will be staki * ng.Lot 14 this week; at that time they will
pick up enough elevational dat.a for us to -be able to set proper slopes for
the Contractor to install the 21" storm sewer proper1y.
John Miller had reviewed and approved this size pipe in our previous
meeting at the site.
