Dear Mr. Antonsen:
I have reviewed your account and will allow a credit for the billing period between October
13, 1997 through December 11, 1997 in accordance with our City policy. The policy states
that the customer will be billed at the retail rate based upon the average water consumption
for the same period during the previous year. In addition, the excess water lost from the
leak will be billed to customer at the City's wholesale rate with a 15% surcharge added for
administrative cost. Only one leak credit will be granted in any three year period.

excess-water usage-. After -some minor investigation, I agreed- that -there -was
indeed a leak some where in the service line between the meter and my h8use.
Fca I I ed-Ameri can- Leak -Detection to- have -them come -out a nd- check- the, I i ne.
They found the leak after approximately 21/2hours.
1-have attached the report- that -they gave my insurance company- with a
detailed sketch of my service line and where the leak was found. I dug ther hole
to expose -the -leak- and -repaired the -leak -by- cutting out- the -bad- section of plastic
pipe and repaired it with a section of 200 psi, by 1" ID black poly pipe. I used
brass couplings with 2 stainless steel-strbps (opposing) on each side -of both
fittings. I
Aftef-completion of fixing the -leak-, slowly- turned- the -water- back on and checked
for leaks with the pipe exposed. No leaks were found and the meter was ste'ady,
not moving at all-. Being confident the leak was fixed, filled in the hole and
cleaned up the yard. t
Since I didn't know -that I had a leak, I. feel -that some -adjustment to my -water
bill should be in order. I have corrected the problem and you should have '
noticed a drop in my usage buy now.- Thank you for -notifying me of the, leak.

CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT
IN CONSIDERATION of benefits to ac6rue to the grantors herein by
reason'of the construction and establishment of an improved
right-of-way, the undersigned, Cory Antonsen, hereby grants to the
CITY OF EDMONDS, a municipal corporation, a fifteen foot (15')
construction easement for the installation of a storm drainage system
for cuts or fills on the following described property, and the further
right to remove existing pavement and'other obstructions interfering
with the construction of said slope.
The construction easement shall be temporarily effective only for
the duration of September 7 - October 31, 1993. The construction
easement hereby granted is located in the County of Snohomish, State of
Washington, and is more particularly described as follows:
The East 15.00 feet of the 'East 80.00 feet of the West 112 of Lot
34, Plat of Maplewood Hills, as recorded in Volume 10, Page 121.
