After receiving complaints of water back-up in the yards.
in your neighborhood, the Engineering Division staff of the
Public Works Department made a field -inspection to discover -what
problem there might be. We have found that grading and filling
has occurred at the westerly end of your property. This filling
has obstructed the natural drainage in the area.
We have also found a rockery constructed within a City
sewer easement. There is no permit file for the work involved..
This work, therefore, is a violation of City Codes. It is, there-
fore, requested that you contact Mr. Bill Nims, Engineering Division,
Public Works Department �at 775-2525, ext. 220, and Mr. Harr.y Whitcutt,
Building Division, Community Development Department at 775-2525,
ext. 253, immediately after receipt of this letter so that this
problem can be resolved.
Since this matter could involve damage to property and
subsequent legal consequences, your prompt attention to this
