Dear Mr. Krusenstjerna:
I have reviewed your account and will allow a credit in accordance with our City policy.
The policy states that the customer will be billed at the retail rate based upon the average
water consumption for the same period during the previous year. In addition, the excess
water lost from the leak will be billed to customer at the City's wholesale rate with a 15%
surcharge added for administrative cost. Only one leak credit will be granted in any three
year period.

I recently experienced a huge water loss due to roots from a neighbors tree broke my water One
which I have gotten repaired. I was unaware of the problem until I received my last water bill.
The meter reading on May 7, 1996 was 169, and today the reading is 325. My normal usage is
9 to I I each 2 months.
I am enclosing a copy of the repair charges and my last water bill. Please adjust my water bill ac-
