Re: ADDRESS CHANGE
The City has received your request for an address change at your place of
residence. After a site inspection by the Building Inspector, the Building
Offical and the Fire Marshall have concurred that such a change would be
in conformance with the addressing policies of the City. Therefore,
approval has been give to change:
20402 86th Place West to 20417 88th Avenue West
The City will notify all applicable City departments of the change. It will be
your responsibility to notify all others, including the Post Office. You have
30 days to post new address numbers.

I was informed that you were the person to talk to about an address change.

Our address is 20402 86th Pl. W. however, we actually live at 204th and 88th Ave W.
204th runs down the north side of our property and 88th Ave W. along the west side.
We are a block from 86th Pl. W. With the L.I.D. on 88th Ave West the post off ice
contacted our neighbors and told them that they could move their mailboxes down to
their own property instead of having them all up at the corner. Ken called the post
office and was informed that our mailing address should be 88th Ave W. not 86th Pl. W
due to our location. They would love to move our mail closer to where it- should be but
that we had to get the city to okay the address change. When I called your office I
spoke to a gentleman that said you had to meet certain criteria laid out by Snohomish
County, but he did not know what the criteria required. Our neighbor to the south has
20421 88th Ave W. as his address. Please advise as soon as possible in regards to
this change.
& Not only is the location of the property a reason for the change but also the fact that
our mailbox on 86th Pl. W. is constantly vandalized. The Post Off ice is aware of the
vandalism but we haven't been able to catch the person doing it. By changing our
address we can move our mailbox to a place that is visible from the house, instead of a
block away and it just might save the next new box we have to put up.

checks soon and would like to know ahead of time. Thanks again.
