I have reviewed the account at 20506 76th Avenue West and will allow a credit from
December 1995 through July 1996 in accordance with our City policy. The policy states
that the customer will be billed at the retail rate based upon the average water consumption
for the same period during the previous year. In addition, the excess water lost from the
leak will be billed to customer at the City's wholesale rate with a 15% surcharge added for
administrative cost. Only one leak credit will be granted in any three year period.

In response to your request for an additional credit on account
#419300, you stated that a credit was only granted from March 15, 1994
thru May 12, 1994 which is correct. You also stated the leak was
repaired on June 14, 1994 and this you felt should allow a credit for
the billing period of May 12, 1994 to July 12, 1994.
I have reviewed this account and your request, and found the only
billing period that can be allowed a leak credit is the period of
March 12, 1994 thru May 15, 1994. The billing period May 12, 1994 to
June 12, 1994 is not showing any overage for this period based on your
same billing period in 1993.
In review, I will have to deny any further credits to you account as
they are not allowed per city policy.
