Dear Resident:
I have reviewed your account and.will allow a credit from November 17, 1994 through
January 16, 1995 in accordance with our City policy. The policy states that the customer
will be billed at the retail rate based upon -the average water consumption for the same
period during the previous year. In addition, the excess water lost from the leak will be
billed to customer at the City's wholesale rate with a 15% surcharge added for
administrative cost. Only one leak credit will be granted in any three year period.
Should you have any additional questions after you receive your new billing, please

I received my latest utility bill a few days ago, which is almost double
the norm. I an appealing to you for any assistance you might be able to
offer in this matter.
Since there was no notable difference in the water quality or pressure in the
house, I did not realize there was a leakage until a puddle appeared and
remained even after the rains had subsided. With the depth of the pipes
and hard clay soil, I suppose it did take some time to reach the surface.
I had it repaired as soon as the problem was realized.
As a widow living on a minimum income, any large bill poses a hardship for
me and my daughter. With the repair bill and all, is there any way you
can help , it would. be greatly appreciated.
