He said that when the line was originall ' v installed, the City contractors had incorrectI.,,r laid a�joint. of the main line. '2ni-s caused a reverse angle in the incline of the Fewer line. As Mly,. Dawson explained, this caused the heavier sewage to accumulate in the recesses of the impronerly-Constructe line, and after a ppric)d of time, the sewer will block up either farth er down the line or back iip the line. .In order to verify that this indeed was the problem, I again called the !�ater Den-�rtment. 'J"he foreman in charge arrived and agreed with Mr. Dawson th,.-�t he had foundl the problem. After inspecting the trouble the foreman instructed Mr. Dawson'tn correct the reversed sewer line. This Mr. Dawson did, and then he covered the line back. tip.
