SUBJECT: WOODRIDGE APARTMENTS— 21010 83RD AVE. W.
Pat Wilson and I checked the concrete foundation'for the side-
walk at the subject location. It is evident that the structure
was not constructed in accordance with the approved plan.
addition, the approved plan states that his engineer will inspect
the augering and placing of the concrete; we inquired of his engi-
neer and no inspection was conducted.
We also required that this office be notified and approve the
depth of the augering and placement of the concrete. We received
no notification prior to augering or the placement of concrete.
I recommend that the developer have his engineer contact me to dis-
cuss possible methods to correct the situation or have the developer
remove all existing concrete and construct the structure in accor-
dance with the approved plan.

This is in response to your letter of August 30,
1978.
On September 1, 1978 the matter was reviewed by
myself, in company with a representative of the
.Public Works Department, and the builder, at the
job site.,
The builder has agreed to do certain work to
comply with the building code and the drainage
ordinance.
It is our understanding that it will be done
within the next few weeks, as his schedule allows.
We will review this completion date on September
20, 1978.
The work will ' be subject to this department's
approval and also the.City Engineer's office.

responsibility of the contractor.
